So I have survived a 6th of the school year and am almost 3/12ths of the way through, and am now having to implement changes!
I am so stressed, anxious, worried, and hopeful for how my changes and modifications for my ESL students will go because I am going to teach him English if it is the only thing I do this year. That I promise!! In a class of 8 it is really nice to give each student the one-on-one attention they deserve and require at times, but it is also important to see when things are working out for students, too.
So wish me luck! I am starting at square one...first grade language skills and getting the ball rolling ASAP.
